SAC Annual Dinner 2012

The year has ended; 

much memories were made  and many activities have been carried out making us once again, 

one of the most popular club in Taylor's University Lakeside Campus.

As a part of the tradition, each year will be ended by one last activity, the annual dinner. 

This year annual dinner was handled by Pokemon and assisted by Don, both were very eager to give out a very mind-blasting, rocking annual dinner to all the members of the club. This event was attended by SAC members from Taylor's University Lakeside Campus and also Taylor's University Subang Jaya. And to add more zest to the dinner, alumni members were also invited.

To make things much more interesting, they have chosen a theme for the dinner; "Mix and Match" where members have to turn up with clothes that is the least matching of all. Confused? Yeah, me too.

The dinner was held in the Karaoke Lounge, Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort, a very lovely resort that offers reasonable prices while offering a very phenomenal views and environment.

According to plan, everyone were to arrive and to start the dinner by 7pm. However, as an unavoidable tradition that we do not even feel obliged to continue; the dinner only started at 7.30pm. A speech was given out by Knight, followed by the Organizing Person Pokemon and the Program Director, Tarzan to get things heated up. 

Before proceeding to dinner, an Ice Breaking game was initiated, to get both members and alumni a chance to get to know each other more. 

Shortly after the Ice-Breaking Game, dinner commenced! A selection of mouth-watering food were offered; in the buffet style. 

During dinner, a slideshow of past activities pictures and videos were displayed. Reminiscing mode can be seen on everybody's face. Laughter and reliving memories chatters filled the entire spaces, as every members and alumni watched the slideshow. 

After dinner, it is time for performance by Team Kuali and Team Taboo; the years President and Vice President for SAC of Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. Team Kuali performed first with a sketch about the journey of the recruits since interview till orientation camp, whereas Team Taboo performed a musical sketch about the 2 days 1 night orientation camp that happened in November 2012. Next, games session started. As always, entertainment will never be missing from an annual dinner to give everybody a very good time and a chance for further bonding as well as a chance to enjoy themselves. 

However, before the games began, voting forms were given out to everybody to vote for 3 categories; where winners will be presented by gifts, sponsored by the club. 

The voting forms were for everyone to vote the following:

1.     “Best Group Performance”

2.     “Best Performer”

3.     “Best Dressed”

The first game is the charade game, where each table will be a single group, and had to line up for a guessing game. It was very fun to watch. The efforts shown by team members were very encouraging; and it shows just how much fun they are having while playing the game. 

After the first games, results for the voting had came out and presents were given out to the winners.

Without wasting any more time, the second game commenced. It is the Dressing Game, where members who turned up to the dinner without complying to the theme will be dressed up using any things that can be found from their table.

Without realizing the time, it was already nearing 11pm. It was high way time to get the party wrapped up and leave. And whats a dinner without thousands of group photos? You can almost say that group photos was the climax of the dinner. :)

Leaving the premise of Bukit Jalil Country Resort, big smile was etched to everybody's face; signifying a great time with each other and also a more strengthen bond between each other. Sky Adventure Club is not just a club anymore; every year it transform strangers to best friends and to families.

SAC is a big family, that we will always love forever and treasure in our hearts.
