We planned our trip down to Malacca Town and the trip was organised by Kitty. There were 17 of us; Current Members- Shorty, Blue, Apple, Tough, Sleepy, Kitty, Skinny, Taboo, Swift and Ice-T. New Members- Knife, Sting-Ray, Twilight, Libra, Volley and Scorpion. Not to forget our advisor, The Rock. All of us went there with 4 cars.
We gathered in Old Town at 8am before heading to Taylor’s Lakeside Campus for breakfast and onwards to Malacca. We began our journey from the campus at 9.30am. The trip was organised to bond current members with the new members together as part of the SAC family.
Our first visit was to Zoo Melaka using the Ayer Keroh exit route. Surprisingly, there were lots of people and children! Probably, it was a Saturday. Haha
We even tour around and snapped lots of pictures. On that day, Taboo brought along her cousin, Bryan, and took us for around Malacca as he is a local there.
Two hours later, we carried on to our next destination which is our makan (lunch) time. We stopped at one of the restaurant called Makko Nyonya. Unfortunately, the restaurant was rather full that we walk to another nyonya restaurant called Bibik Neo. The restaurant served excellent Baba Nyonya’s traditional cooking – the Ayam Ponteh and Udang Lemak Nenas is a must to try!
After lunch, we have dessert and walk around A' Famosa Fort, and took more pictures together. LOL.
We were still full from our late lunch. Yet, we went to Nadeje to try their famous Crepe Cake. Despite the long queue, we waited long enough to get what we deserved.
Soon, we went down to Jonker Street/Walk and craved for a ride on River Cruise. Unfortunately, one of our members, Scorpion, has to return to her hometown in Muar, Johor.
Ice-T and Bryan escorted her to the bus station while the rest continue to shop around Jonker Walk. When both Ice-T and Bryan return, we happily gets into the River Cruise. The wind is windy and chilling. Thus, the night life was absolutely mesmerizing!
We ended our trip after grabbing some bites in a Mamak restaurant. Soon the day turns to night, we departed from feeling exhausted and thrilled with excitement upon returning home!
