Paintball Challenge 2011

On 29^th October 2011, Sky Adventure Club (SAC) hosted the paintball competition at Malaysian Paintball Academy (MAPAAC). The event was organised by both Tough and Sleepy, who are the SAC committee members.

The event began at 8 o’clock in the morning with 12 participating teams getting all warm-up and ready to compete in the paintball challenge. Those who arrived are to queue at the registration ground and listen to briefing by the staffs on safety first and also its rules and regulations. Fortunately, the weather was good throughout the day! :D

This is how the game system works:
League Format
- Capture opponent base 
- Each team will be playing a minimum of 4 games
- 1 game max. 5 mins, each player are limited to 50 pellets
- Top 2 of each group will precede to quarter finals. (Knockout System)
- Semi-finalists will have the opportunity to increase their pellets to 100 per player.
- No customised paintball markers are allowed. Only house markers permitted.

Those who qualify to the quarter final, semi-final and final will have the opportunity to play even MORE GAMES without any extra charges. Each player will be provided with equipment and a minimum of 200 pellets.

During the competition, we served and sold some food and beverages such as Coney Dog, Fried Rice, Spaghetti with Bolognaise sauce, fishballs, soya bean, cincau, and Recharge.

1st Prize : RM500 cash voucher + RM 300 cash + Hampers

As organisers, all SAC members get to play for free at the end of the day. It was wonderful yet exhilarating game of paintball. It may be a tiring sports but we do really enjoy the fun and thrill of paintball.

SAC members had dinner at Papa John’s in Sunway Pyramid and also pool session to end this wonderful day. =)
