SAC - White Water Rafting

Sky Adventure Club - White Water Rafting Expedition 

at Sungai Kampar, Perak

A part of our annual activities, this year ( year 2012 ) White Water Rafting, CodeName WWR are held at Sungai Kampar, Perak. This exciting, and very very challenging sports are join together by the two SAC club from Taylor's University, the Lakeside Branch and Subang Jaya branch.

We are just a bunch of happy adventurers, looking for more adventures and doing it together as a team. That is what most important about us. We do it as a team, and this made our bond stronger. Stronger than as a friend, we are like families. Sky Adventure Club : SAC. Remember that name.

Traveling to Sg. Kampar was very exciting. This is also a time for the members to bond some more during the long journey. Some were singing to the radio, and some were just talking and chatting. It was much fun to see them having fun. Hahaha. As expected huh?

Upon reaching our destination, Sg Kampar, we were greeted by the rafting instructors who explained to us the rules, safety regulations and instructions during rafting. We were then divided into groups, and were given a series of warm-ups exercises before proceeding to the river.

Exercises were given out, as a part of warm-up. This is to avoid injuries during the rafting. The warm-ups were carried out by the instructors.

Next came the big event, rafting out in the river. Everybody was very excited for it and were hoping to have a very good time as well as a challenging time, as the river were classified as a level 2-3. Pretty good feat for newbies like us.

In a nut shell, this year White Water Rafting were a complete success. Everybody had fun and had gained new experience which they will always remember. Although the water was not very swift and torrential, still we experience rafting on a river deemed to be challenging. Through out the whole event, all members are to be praised as they always help one another and give out support during rafting out. 

I believe this event has made us a more stronger family and friends....forever...
